Sohmer Signed Beautiful Cabinet Grand Piano (worcester) $200

This is a beautiful piano. Don't buy a new piano which will depreciate immediately like a new car. This is an appreciating asset and well worth the investment. I have seen these for sale for thousands. This is the real deal, an Original Sohmer, not like the new ones made today. The Sohmer family ran the business til the 1980's, so you know they did something right! This one is a magnificent piano with patent dates ranging from 1869 to 1890. After Mr Sohmer left Steinway to improve on piano design, he would sign the pianos himself only after they met with his satisfaction. This one still bears his signature. This fine antique has been orphaned by a divorce. We are going to let this one go to the lucky bidder. The cabinet restoration has been virtually completed. Must see pics. It has been meticulously fully stripped, except where to save the original decals which is buffed and then almost fully refinished to a luscious hand rubbed surface. The wood is a very fiery grained red mahogany. Very tasteful carved panels. Piano plays except that one note has broken hammer dowel. Better if a new dowel is installed which is a very common inexpensive procedure. The dowel could be easily glued for now as it is a long angled fracture (see pic). You can see that all the intricate woodwork has been refinished, leaving just the sides and the rear top (basically the non-removable easily finished flat surfaces - the top view pic illustrates this well) luckily these surfaces are already stripped and cleaned. Piano has a nice bright sound. Some keytop ivories are chipped in front. I have a package of new old stock vintage ivories that I will include with the piano. Here is your chance to own a sought after piano of high caliber.

This is the speaker enclosure people mean when they say SVT speaker cabinet. It�s all about tone. Other than the color scheme, it is identical to the original SVT-810.

Why eight 10� speakers? We learned early on that 10� speakers work much more efficiently than fifteens or eighteens�and if you put eight 10� speakers together, you can move a huge column of air. You�d need five 18� or six 15� speakers to move as much air as the SVT-810E! And they simply wouldn�t be able to respond to transient peaks as quickly as our tens.

The books all have some markings in them, but the ledgers + lyrics are still completely readable.

I have a randall v2 full stack that i unfortunatly need to down size. As we both know, I dont feal like taking a pounding from GC or Daddys, so Im gonna pass the savings on to you. This thing screams, and is as solid as a tank! Bottom line. Ive got one slant 4x12 and one strait 4x12 both loaded with celestions. Yes the vinal has rips and the apperance of them is more like a subway terminal from being tagged up, but that dosent effect there performance one bit. The head is a hybrid solid state and tube distortion plus a clean channel. I have the midi foot switch and 3 extra tubes ill send with it too.

truth be told, I dont want to part with it. As life would have it though, I need to accomidate my ever shrinking apartment.

Recently replaced speakers w/ a set that I got from the guys at Eminence Speaker Co. These are in working order, never been played out, only basement practice. They will come in the eminence box so avoid any damage. All speakers are working and sound great, there is not a thing wrong w/ them. They all read 14.9 ohms on the multimeter.

if you dont know what this is, it makes whatever signal you send through it sound like its spinning. real chorus. it does this by having a speaker faced down. its pointed in to a scooped rotor which is spun by a belt, and motor.

the leslie has two speeds, and stop. slow speed sounds like really nice slow chorus. fast speed sounds like really nice fast chorus. better then any pedal. it also has a stop feature which stops the rotor from spinning. these three functions can be controlled from the foot pedal.

leslie preamp II has two 1/4 inputs with volume for each.

I have for sale my favorite guitar. I just bought this less than 6 months ago and i hate to sell it but i need the money more than the guitar. It is all stock, i never had any time to put in the so needed 500k tone pots. Its really worth it to do. id say its an 8 out of 10. Not one scratch on the back. its missing the switch tip ($4) and has paint missing around the bottom strap button, it cant be seen when covered by a strap. i have a non working Crate Stealth 50 watt head. It powers up and the tubes glow but has no sound. I dont have a cab anymore so i have no way of testing any reapirs i could do.. a resistor blew on it and i had it replaced, still nothing. Bought all new tubes. 4 GrooveTubes GT 6V6R and 3 Electro-Harmonix 12AX7EH., still nothing. So I dont know what else to do, i dont have a cab so i really dont need it. Im asking $130 or best offer, i just need the money more than this oversized paper weight. This thing used to sound amazing. call Tom 978 257 6847
