Photos and other material from a soldier in WW 2 from Massachusetts. After being drafted in 1943 he was sent to New Guinea as part of an ordinance company. He spent most of his time there, but did go to the Philippines and then to Japan as part of the occupation forces.

He took over 170 small snapshots while overseas. Plus 30 other bits of ephemera.

Everything was originally in a scrapbook that fell apart.
