We are a growing flooring and cabinetry company seeking a detail-oriented Design Associate to support our design and project teams. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in client consultations and product selections
- Support kitchen and flooring design layouts using design software
- Help prepare proposals, pricing, and material selections
- Coordinate orders, deliveries, and scheduling with vendors and crews
- Track project progress and maintain communication with customers
- Perform site measurements and assist with field verification
- Maintain showroom displays and product samples
Team Support
- Work closely with project managers to ensure smooth project flow
- Assist in identifying potential issues and resolving them proactively
- Help maintain organization across multiple active projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in kitchen, bath, flooring, or interior design
- Proficiency in design software (2020 Design or similar)
- Strong understanding of residential construction and materials
- Proven track record of managing projects and meeting sales goals
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
