This Samsung Syncmaster 245bw was our own monitor and works fine, we upgraded to something larger. It's 24 inches. It's on an adjustible stand which goes up and down. The stand also rotates (circular) on its base. It's nice and sturdy.

The built-in cable options are RGB (the squat trapezoid with three rows of pins) and DVI (the longer rectangular shape with square pins). This does NOT COME WITH HDMI as a built-in port. However, we are supplying a cable with DVI on one side and HDMI on the other side. It works fine with that configuration. The photos you see are taken from my laptop with the HDMI cable plugged into my laptop.
