This is a Fluance DB10 that has a few electrical issues, but depending on what you need a 10" sub for they may not matter and you can get a great speaker for a good price.
The cone and passive woofer are totally fine. Photos confirm impedance is right at the 4ohms specified on the back. A battery test will move the cone. If you're building a system and just need a passive subwoofer this will work great. The existing box is also in great shape.
The built in electronics for the unit are another story. The cutoff pot works as expected. However the built in amplifier is broken somehow so any input coming from the speaker level inputs remains at too low a level and the sub no longer hits as hard as it should. The gain knob functions but has very little impact compared to when this unit was new 2 years ago.
The LFE input takes a slightly different path and hits harder but still not like it used to.
If you're good with electronics or building a system where you just need a decent speaker and or box this is a good opportunity. If you're looking for a plug in and go option this ain't it.
