Tall Annual flowering bushy/full type plant. Bright orange/red flowers with yellow centers- that attract many bees, monarch butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators.
These tall Annual flowers grow bushy 3-6 feet tall, would be good for a privacy hedge/trellis or fence/wall area or your garden.
When full grown they need some support/ protection/ shelter or tied up, from full wind areas . Their spread is 2-3 foot, they make many flowers per plant.
Flowers bloom from late Spring to late Fall before frost kill. Dead Head spent flowers to encourage more flowers. In fall save the dry seed heads for following year planting.
The hollow stems and the leaves of the spent plant make great mulch/compost.
They like full sun, well draining any type of soil, regular watering.
Great for fresh cut flower arrangements.
