I am in the process of slowly downsizing and need to find a good home for an extraordinary table with 2 oak planks. These are solid oak and I have never seen anything like them outside of a church pew.
Each plank is 8 feet long, 17.5 inches wide and an amazing 1.25 inches thick. They are currently used as part of the table set up as shown. There is a base made of 2"x4"'s. The table is 40.5 inches high overall. It is extremely strong and stable. This was used to do puzzles on so it has a lot of room and is extra high to accommodate a stool yet minimize back strain.
It is held together with carriage bolts and easily disassembled for trouble free moving. I figured that some people might only want the planks but of course the legs come with it if you'd like.
I've been using the table for storage, hence the 2"x3" stringers on the bottom supporting the boxes.
