The FBX1200 from Sabine is a single channel, twelve band digital notch filter feedback suppressor. The unit features SMARTFilter technology that can automatically, speedily, and precisely locate the exact frequency band that is feeding back and remove it.
The power of the FBX1200 lays in its ability to control feedback during the program, not just at setup time. If feedback occurs during a crucial moment of the show, the FBX places a filter that only eliminates the feedback, without adversely affecting the overall sound.
Using a sophisticated, patented analysis algorithm that scans the harmonic content of the program material, the unit is able to very accurately discern feedback from simply loud program material. Once any of the potential 20,000 places that feedback can occur are analyzed, it centers the filter exactly on the offending frequency with one-Hertz resolution.
A multi-color filter display shows exactly which filters are fixed and which are programmed to function dynamically. Set-up can be down in as little as thirty seconds, with the whole process being so quiet that it is almost unnoticeable.
