Original owner, purchased new in November of '22. This guitar has been played a lot but remains super clean. No dings anywhere. The back, being black, may show some fine hairline scratches, but nothing that will photograph. No fret wear due to the stainless steel frets. The bridge pickup shows some relic-ing, which is expected and somewhat deliberate as this is Suhr's Raw Nickel cover which isn't chrome plated, and allows this to happen. IMO it looks better than shiny chrome covers.
The bridge pickup is not stock. I found Suhr's stock SSH+ pickup (17K output) to be too hot for my tastes so i got the Suhr SSH (12.8K output), which is a step down in output, but still hotter than traditional PAF output. I also added an Engl Hardtailer, which keeps the strings from going sharp if you break a string or use drop-D tuning. This can be seen through the cutout in the back plate. Works great.
As you can see, the top is stunning and looks great from every angle. No disappearing flame on this one. Weights of guitars are creeping up but this is a comfy 7.5-ish pounds, so it's pretty comfortable on a strap. I also added Wilkinson locking bridge saddles which make this guitar very, very stable tuning-wise. If you prefer traditional saddles, we can swap them out for the stock Gotoh saddles that i still have.
Custom wiring as well via the stock Mega 5-way switch. Position 1= bridge humbucker. Position 2= bridge w/middle. Position 3= neck w/bridge. Position 4= neck w/middle. Position 5= neck. Then, with the push/push tone control you can split the humbucker with any of these positions. it's nice to be able to get quasi-tele sounds in the #3 position by splitting the bridge and pairing it w/the neck.
Also note that the roasted maple neck is quarter-sawn, whereas most of the new ones are flat-sawn. See Suhr's site for anything else i may have left out and email w/any questions. Another bonus- this will come with Suhr's factory hard shell case, also super-clean). New ones today come with a gig bag. I'm in no hurry to sell it so the price is firm. No trades, and i will not respond to "offers" or "is it still for sale?" If it's listed, it's available.
