Tilt! is a tone modifying pedal; as the control is rotated toward Treble+ high frequency signals are boosted up to 6dB and low frequency signals are cut by the same amount, "tilting" the frequency response. Rotating the knob toward Bass+ reverses the action. The footswitch is a true hardwire bypass.

Although designed for use at electric guitar signal levels (100 - 500mV), Tilt! can handle an input signal of 1V at either boost extreme. I suggest placing the unit early in your effects chain, i.e., "Tilt" the clean signal, then add boost or distortion. But experiment to find a sound that works for you.
