1967 Supro 'Blackie'....about as good shape as anyone could expect, probably one of the nicest examples available. CTS 137 605 alnico 15" speaker, actual point-to-point wiring, original hand wound interleaved transformers, class A cathode biased....3-prong power cord installed, for safety ('death' caps removed) w/ varistor protection, new electrolytic filter cap (quiet when warmed up), lightweight resonate solid pine cabinet & a Custom Amp Covers, also made in USA.
Needless to say, this amp screams natural vintage grinding overdrive tone when cranked! You could think of it as a more powerful, larger 35w, 6L6 Tweed Deluxe. :)
And yes, it sounds tremendous for blues harp!
From Vintage Guitar mag-
"– its sound is the epitome of one thing: huge, raw, gnarly, overdriven, big-shouldered, blues tone heaven"
"the S6420 proved a brilliant guitar amp – one of the best ever made – by anyone"
