Here’s one you don’t see every day. This is a custom Kiesel Thanos 5 string bass. The stock Thanos has 2 J-pickups and pickguard. This one has no pickguard and a single J pickup at the bridge. Also unique is the 3-piece, quartersawn maple-purpleheart-maple neck with purpleheart fingerboard with black block inlays. This bass has active electronics powered by 2 9-volt batteries housed in the back. The controls are master volume, push-pull passive tone (pull-up disengages the preamp for passive use with passive tone roll-off), and stacked bass/treble boost/cut tone knobs. There is an additional knob that you may wire as you wish. This little guy is a beast and plays great. No digs or scratches. Comes with heavy duty gig bag.
