With over 50 years of distinguished experience as a professional drummer and educator, I have built a comprehensive career spanning live performances, studio recordings, and educational endeavors. My performance portfolio includes prestigious engagements on television, in nightclubs, recording studios, weddings, and a wide array of shows featuring ensembles ranging from intimate groups to large Big Bands—an art form that resonates deeply within my musical soul.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of studying with some of the most influential figures in the drumming world, including Joe Morello of The Dave Brubeck Quartet, Alan Dawson—Boston's legendary jazz educator—Fred Buda of the Boston Pops, Gene Roma, Gary Chaffee, and Joe Hunt at Berklee College of Music. These extensive studies have enriched my technical mastery, improvisational skills, and musical versatility, allowing me to deliver exceptional performances and innovative teaching.
