We are a three-piece country band, 45-50, all with families and jobs. 4-8 gigs per year. Guitar/harp/vox, bass/vox, drums. Low commitment, high energy, tons of room for breaks.
Ideally, we'd like to find a fourth picker with a solid rhythmic foundation and quality shred. Really, we're looking to round out our sound and have fun.
Stray Cats to Red Clay Strays.
David Allen Coe to Dasha.
Bluegrass to Bakersfield.
Old 97's, Waylon Jennings, Billy Joe Shaver, George Strait, John Denver, etc etc etc.
Luke Bryan sucks.
We have space in Townsend and practice a few times before each gig. Toss in some jams for fun. It's all covers for now, but we do write originals and welcome new stuff. We play with an ekit, so the volume is low and controllable.
