We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inside Customer Service / Logistics Coordinator to support our customers and ensure smooth daily operations between sales, warehouse, and delivery.
Job Summary
The Inside Customer Service / Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in supporting customers and coordinating the fulfillment of orders. This role involves processing sales orders, communicating with customers on order status, coordinating logistics with the warehouse, and ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Communicate with customers regarding order confirmations, shipment status, and delivery schedules.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email.
Resolve customer issues related to orders, deliveries, or product availability.
Order Processing
Enter and manage orders using the company’s order management system.
Verify pricing, product availability, and shipping details.
Coordinate with sales representatives regarding customer orders and special requests.
Logistics Coordination
Coordinate order fulfillment with the warehouse team.
Schedule deliveries and pickups with carriers and internal drivers.
Monitor shipments and proactively communicate any delays or issues.
Ensure accurate documentation for shipments and deliveries.
Inventory Support
Check product availability and communicate lead times to customers and sales team.
Assist with inventory monitoring and report discrepancies when necessary.
Internal Coordination
Work closely with sales, warehouse, and management to ensure efficient operations.
Support process improvements that enhance customer service and logistics efficiency.
Qualifications
Required
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience in flooring, building materials, or distribution
Experience with order processing or logistics coordination
Familiarity with inventory or ERP/order management systems
