This is a very difficult decision for me, but due to a sensory issue in our home involving my son, I need to find a new home for my beloved sun conure. My priority is finding someone who truly understands parrots and can provide the time, patience, enrichment, and lifelong commitment he deserves.

Experienced parrot owners only, please. This is not a bird for someone looking for a first pet or their first parrot.
If you're interested, please include the following in your message:

• Your experience with parrots or other large birds
• Why you believe you'd be a good fit for him
• A little about the home and life you could provide

There will be a rehoming fee. This is to help ensure he goes to a serious, committed home. I will not respond to messages that only ask, "How much?"

Finding the right person is far more important to me than finding the first person. If I don't feel it's the right fit, I will continue looking. I also hope to stay in touch and receive occasional updates and photos, as he has been an important part of our family.
