It breaks my heart to have to write this, but I also know my dog needs more than I can give him right now.
Due to a break-up I have become unstably housed. I may have the ability to move back into my own rental in the spring time. But that would require me making a tenant move.
My dog is an American Staffordshire. He is 7 years old and 68 lbs.
He is bark reactive. He gets along with other animals. However he also craves attention and gets anxious (he chases his tail) when another animal is given attention. I would strongly prefer him to be the only dog, but this is not a necessity.
I will pay for all the things he needs. My lack of providing for him is not a financial barrier, it is a time barrier.
Ideally, I can find someone who is willing to care for him for as long as it takes for me to secure housing. Id like it to start a few nights a week and then transition to full time with you.
I am hoping to find a roommate situation where I can have assistance with dog care. If I can’t, that is where the “maybe adopt” comes in.
Overall, hes a really good boy that just wants to be loved. He is up to date on all shots and current with flea/heartworm treatment.
I hate that I’m even gonna post this, but I know he deserves better.
I had to enter a location but I am open to a foster anywhere within Mass
Please reach out with any questions or interest.
I’m not sending you my phone number until we have made a date to meet-up.
