I am looking for a unique situation. I have an opportunity for a well-paying job and am looking for a living situation in Paxton or the Paxton area. This will allow me to be closer to my prospective job, yet not too far from my family. I am a mature farm girl and am used to rustic or even off grid living. I prefer the amenities ie: electric and running water but am currently living with only electric. I have a camper and would be comfortable "living" in it temporarily if its the only option. I am not looking for a room or a house share, as I am a quiet, private person and also have grandkids that like to visit. Ideally, a small cabin or tiny house would be great. I am absolutely fine with (and prefer) wood or pellet heat. I have all my own furnishings.
I have small livestock consisting of 7 chickens, 3 ducks, and 18 rabbits. I have my own pens, coops etc and would need space for them. I also have one well behaved, completely house trained 6 yr old dog and a 3-yr old rescue cat. Both are spayed. I am very handy and self-sufficient and would be able to fulfill a caretaker position in my off time. I'm a woodworker by trade, furniture, cabinets, etc. but have experience with livestock care, both large and small. I have owned horses, cows, pigs, goats, sheep, turkeys etc. in the past.
I do not smoke, do not do any drugs, and almost never drink alcohol. I love to bake.
