We are hiring a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Security Officer to support operations at an Amazon facility in Westborough, MA. This role combines facility security, surveillance monitoring, access control, and front desk responsibilities to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities
• Conduct scheduled security patrols and guard tours throughout the facility using designated checkpoints.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring the premises and reporting suspicious or unusual activity.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems to identify and respond to potential security concerns.
• Serve as the front desk receptionist by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, assisting with check-ins, and providing exceptional customer service.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and security documentation.
• Utilize computers and security software to complete reports, update spreadsheets, and perform administrative tasks.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and management while enforcing company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Must reside in Westborough, MA, or within a 30-minute commute of the work location.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and report preparation. Training will be provided on-site.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Previous security, customer service, reception, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
