Machine runs and rides good! Everything works!
Not the prettiest but gets the job done. Starts 1st or 2nd pull everytime. Engine runs well, no knocks or leaks. Front forks work well and actually give a noticeable comfort boost over standard “stiff” forks. Just installed a new ignition coil, Alpena LED Headlight ($35) and a J&M Plastic Extended Range Gas Tank ($175). Transmission shifts well. Both brakes work, but the fronts could benefit from a cable adjustment. The left-rear tire looses air over the course of a couple days, but the other 2 tires hold air well. Has a china carb installed that needs some adjustment as machine bogs a little when warm, but is still plenty rideable. Headlight and kill switch work as designed. Plastics are fairly complete, but have a good amount of plastic-weld and zip-tie patches done. Front fender is made from a piece of sheet plastic, but the original one (cracked) will be included.
