I have two 8ft caps that both came off F150s. These came off older model trucks (87 and 96). One is in good condition and one is not, a tree fell on it. You could repair it like you would a fiberglass boat. I had intended on repurposing these to make a small woodshed or chicken coop but I moved and can no longer do that. Maybe you can instead.
